Veg_chola


Ingredients- 1. chola dal( black chickpeas) -2 cups

                                   2. carrots (chopped) - 1cp

                                   3.potatoes (chopped)- 1cp

                                   4.green chili (chopped) - 2 tbsp

                                   5. onions (chopped) - 1/2 cp

                                   6. salt - 1 tsp (required)

                                   7.oil - 3 tbsp

                                   8. cumin powder - 1 tsp

                                   9. coriander leaves - 1/2 cp

                                  10. tomato (chopped) - 1/2 cp



Method - At first soak the dal for six to eight hours. Then boil properly with  some salt . Now take a fry pan and  give oil into it. Give onions when the oil is little hot. Stir them until brown. Then give some water. Now add potatoes, carrots,green chilies, some  salt  and boil them in the pan properly. When they are boiled add  dal and mix them properly with  tomato . After five minutes add cumin powder. After two minutes serve the dish with some coriander leaves.
