Chicken Shawarma

Sometimes we try to eat something special.We make plan and visit in different restaurant to enjoy some delicious food.Some people like to have Pizza, Burger or Shawarma.Chicken Shawarma is one of the fast choice foods now a days.Home made food is better than street food specially for the kids and children.We can make it at home easily. Let's try...

Ingredients-
     
  1.chicken- 2 cp(bone & skin less)
     2.ginger paste- 1tsp
     3.garlic paste- 1/2tsp
     4.pepper- 1 tsp
     6.salt- 1/3 tsp
     7.soy sauce- 1tsp
     8.ketchup- 1&1/2 tsp
    10.cardamom powder- 1/4tsp
    11.cumin powder-1/2 powder
    12.coriander powder-1/2 tsp
    13.lemon juice- 1 tbsp   14.onion- 1/2 cp



Method- At first take a bowl and marinate all the ingredients with the chicken. Cover and keep it for eight hours in the refrigerator.Then take a pan and give some well into it.Stir the onions over medium heat and wait until brown.Add marinated chicken with it and cook it for forty-five minutes or until oily and tasty.

Making of White sauce- Take a sauce pan and put it on the stove in a medium flame. Give two table spoon butter or ghee in it.Let it be hot a little. Now add a cup of flour(all purpose)in the ghee.You can low the heat for your convenience.Stir the flour until became brown in colour. Give two cups of milk,one-third tsp salt and one tsp black pepper.Stir all the ingredients continuously in a low flame.Stop cooking when it became thick.Now the sauce is ready.

Pita bread filling-1. pita bread-4(large)
                                                                  2. cucumber-1/2 cp(grated)
                                                                  3. onions- 1/2 (ring cut)
                                                                  4. tomato-1/2 cp
                                                                  5. mint leaves- 1/2 cp 
                                                                  6. white sauce- require

Making of pita bread-  1. yeast- 2 tsp
                                                                            2.warm water- 1/2 cp
                                                                            3.flour- 3 cp
                                                                           4.salt- 1&1/4 tsp
                                                                           5.granulated sugar- 1 tsp

Method- Dissolve yeast in  1/2 cup of water. Add sugar and stir until dissolved.Let sit for 10 to 15 minutes until water is frothy.

 Combine flour and salt in a large bowl. Pour the yeast water into the middle space of flour.Slowly add 1 cup of warm water and stir with wooden stick until elastic.You can add some vegetable oil to make the dough. Knead it properly until elastic.Keep it in a warm place for 10 to 15 mins.Turn the dough in the middle of the time. Now make round shape breads with bread roller and fry them in a tawa.

 Now,just take a bread and fill it with the vegetables, white sauce and chicken and wrap it with paper or aluminium foil paper. Enjoy chicken shawarma with your family and friends.
