Chicken Shashlik
Chicken Shashlik is a kind of popular fast food available not only in the restaurants but also by the street vendors. This yummy chicken recipe is specially made of lamb meat. But it can be made from other kinds of meats like chicken, beef etc. In this recipe chicken pieces as well as vegetables are weaved on skewers and then fried or roasted over wood, charcoal / coal. It's recipe is as following-
Ingredients-
1.boneless chicken- 1/2 kg (large cube cut)
2. soy sauce- 2 tbsp
3. black pepper powder- 1 tsp
4. lemon juice- 1 full lemon's juice
5. ginger juice- 2 tsp
6. salt - 1/3 tsp (required)
7. onions - 2 ps
8. capsicums - 3 ps
9. tomatoes -3 ps
10. skewers - 8 to 10 ps
11. oil- for fry
12. chut masala - as required
Method- At first marinate the chicken cubes with soy sauce, ginger, lemon juice, black pepper and salt for ten minutes. Cut capsicums, onions and tomatoes to match the cubes. Prick the marinated chickens with vegetables in the skewers (follow the picture). After preparing the sticks, take a fry pan and grease some oil in it. Simmer the pan and fry the shashliks. Turn over another side after frying a part. It will take six to ten minutes to fry.Take the shashliks on a plate and serve them spreading some chut masala.
