Kheer Pesta Samucha


Actually we always try something salty or spicy in our tiffin. We eat spicy samucha. But Kheer Pesta Samucha is not like the spicy one. Although it is yummy . You can try it at home.

Ingredients- 1. milk- 1/2 liter

                      2.semolina (shuji) -1/2 cup
                                
                       3.pesta -1 tbsp
                                     
                        4.almond -1 tbsp(crushed)
                                    
                        5.raisin -2 tsp

                         6.sugar -2 tbsp( required)

                         7. salt -1 pinch

                          8.flour -3 cups

                          9.butter -2 tbsp

                         10.oil -2 cups(for shallow fry)

                        11. ghee -1/3 cup


  Method -      1st step-              
                    At first take a bowl and make the dough with flour, one tsp salt, some water and butter.Then keep it for half an hour.
          2nd step-    
                   Take a pan and pour ghee with oil  into it. Put the pan on the gas burner. Take semolina in it when the ghee is hot a little. Stir semolina until brown and then pour the milk in it. Now stir it with nuts and sugar. When it becomes lightly thick add pesta and raisin.Finally give a  pinch of salt and stop cooking. 
         3rd step-
                   Now take some dough and make a round shape small bread. Cut it in the middle. Then take some kheer in one part and fold it  like a triangle shape. Fold the samucha properly  using fingertips on its edge  unless the kheer comes out. In this way make the samuchas by the rest of the dough and give them a shallow fry. Now  serve them on a dish with some pesta and nuts.
